If you are a health care professional and hold a HLT41115 – Certificate IV in Health Care or HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science (scroll to the end of this article for links) and love travelling to remote locations, then you could become an Expedition Medic.

Expedition Medicine is a rapidly evolving field in the health care sector that see’s medics provide vital pre-hospital emergency care in remote or inhospitable environments.

How to become an expedition medic?

If you’re the type of person that enjoys travel, helping out those less fortunate and working in unpredictable environments then you should look into becoming an Expedition Medic. People in this field possess a very high skill level as well as the ability to deal with any situation thrown their way.

To start a career in expedition medicine we recommend completing either the HLT41115 – Certificate IV in Health Care or  HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science.

Both of these qualifications provide a flexible and affordable pathway to becoming a Medic/Paramedic.
