Our Industry Partnership
Australian Paramedical College (APC) is proudly partnered with Safety and First Aid (S.A.F.E) Tasmania to assist our students across the state in completing clinical placement and obtaining employment within the event medical sector.
This collaboration sees APC’s HLT51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care and HLT41120 – Certificate IV in Health Care students complete their placement at an array of events, with the chance to gain experience in the patient transport sector too.

S.A.F.E provides first aid training, event medical support, and patient transport services throughout Tasmania.
With over 150 years of combined experience in ambulance, policing, and fire & rescue services, S.A.F.E offers APC students the opportunity to complete their placement and gain employment alongside their team of healthcare professionals.

- Hill climbing
- Equestrian events
- Concerts and festivals
Students can expect to complete their placement on weekdays or weekends, treating low-to-medium acuity patients and building their confidence in the sector. This partnership is perfect for those who work full-time or are still in high school due to the flexibility of rostering.
