Here’s how it works:

Study online – Study around your schedule, at your own pace to learn the fundamentals – from medical equipment and terminology to how to manage mental health patients.
Gain hands-on experience – Attend clinical workshop(s) in NSW to build your hands-on knowledge and confidence. You’ll learn how to perform a range of medical assessments and procedures from qualified paramedics with years of experience on the job. Graduate with a nationally recognised qualification- Gain the qualifications to go straight into work, or progress to university to become a registered paramedic.

You could become an Event Medic, Patient Transport Officer (PTO) or even Emergency Services Officer (ESO) with the healthcare industry continuing to rapidly increase across the nation.

If you’re wishing to become a Paramedic, studying the HLT51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care is an excellent place to start.

This pathway allows you to build up your practical skills and medical knowledge, not to mention qualify you, so you’re able to get a job in healthcare before applying for university!
