Trainer and Assessment Manager
Meet The Team: This is Kristy, our amazing Training and Assessment Manager at Australian Paramedical College (APC). Kristy is an Australian Registered Paramedic who trains and guides students through their paramedical Clinical Workshops and assists students in their clinical placements; where they go out into the community and work with emergency medical response teams.
Kristy started at APC just over three years ago as a casual instructor of paramedicine and performed roles at the college ranging from casual instructor, through to one of the main paramedic instructors. Through sheer work, passion and dedication to her students, Kristy now holds the senior management role and manages the clinical training department.
Kristy started in emergency services just over 25 years ago. She began her cadet career as a teenager, primarily with the Australian State Emergency Service. She then became heavily involved in the ambulance side of work which fueled her interest in becoming a paramedic.
Working at major events around the Gold Coast, Queensland including; Schoolies, Indy, New Year’s Eve at Surfers Paradise, Kristy loves paramedicine and teaching, so she really is working in her dream job and doing what she loves best.
