How to get started
You don’t have to start at the Certificate III level. If you’re interested in developing a career in the private sector, or you’ve got your sights set on a paramedical degree at university, the HTL51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care is the perfect place to begin.
With a blend of flexible learning, online collaboration, a Facebook group, student success teams and trainer support, our students complete their course with as little disruption to their existing lifestyle.
You can expect the highest levels of training to prepare you for real-world scenarios; and once completed, the diploma qualification means you will be qualified with advanced skills in airway management, cardiac arrest and pharmacology (drugs).
Flexible online learning
Enrol with the Australian Paramedical College, online, and practical face-to-face experiences. Study and continue working and enjoy the benefits of flexible study options.
Courses can be completed between 6 and-24 months, depending on which qualification chosen.
Classroom-based workshops
Attend face-to-face classroom sessions and lectures to complete the clinical education activities. Enjoy a wide range of true-to-life scenarios to hone your life-saving skills.

Graduate and go to university
To be an ambulance Paramedic a Bachelor of Paramedic Science degree is required. The APC Diploma of Emergency Health Care offers a pathway into university (and credit points).
