Paramedics and medics can spend a lot of time in their ambulance, so it’s important to get to know it well.
Driving under operational conditions requires practise; and a heightened sense of road safety awareness. Driving the Mercedes Sprinter is part of our student training program. This develops confidence and raises greater awareness of the requirements and considerations of driving an ambulance at speed in an emergency.
Ambulance maintenance by Paramedics is an essential part of the job. The ambulance must be well-stocked and ready for any emergency because there’s more than one crew who operate an ambulance.
