Paramedical Training Clinical Workshop 1 – Vanessa

Clinical Workshop #1

APC Diploma student Vanessa from Toowoomba, begins her first clinical workshop at the Miami campus.

Meet ‘Ness’ from Toowoomba, Queensland who is studying the HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science with the Australian Paramedical College.

Ness is attending clinical workshop 1 on the Gold Coast as part of her Diploma qualification.

The Diploma is a Nationally Recognised prehospital emergency health care qualification and sits within the Australian Quality Framework at level 5. (University is Level 7 – and there is no level 6 or Advanced Diploma in paramedicine).

Ness has been studying for about 6 months and is excited as well as a little nervous about what to expect, which is typical for most workshop attendees. Although after 7 days – everyone has their own incredible story to tell 🙂

She was always interested in first aid and CPR which drove her to want to make a change to someone else’s life. Ness is a wonderful example of the kind of attitude we have at the College.

She is ready to take on the challenge and ready to ‘bring it on’.
